A mysterious and ancient figure, not necessarily referred to as a god but rather as a concept. However, to make it more presentable in modern times, Archi-Ola was given a name but never a face. She is characterized as the universe itself, the very concept of the beginning. She was here before time, before existence. At the same time, she is also existence itself. Referred to in ancient texts as “the first mother” “The body that holds the universe in her womb” and “She who makes the universe’s thread”. She is not a goddess or a force of dark or light. She is typically given the credit for creating all of the planes of existence as we know it.
She simply is, always was, and will always be. It was her will that brought in the idea of balance between said light and dark and created the passage of time.
Separated from the mortal realm, Archi-Ola molded various lifeforms. Each of these forms, whatever shape they took, were compiled of Archi-Ola's aspirations and a sliver of their soul.
From the menagerie of forms, the first time god rose. A frail, silvery goddess who learned how to turn the hands of time in tandem with her brothers and sisters who helped shape every other aspect of the mortal plane.
Though Nymis (the original god) has passed on, her legacy and realm remain. The purpose of the time god is to ensure that the past is never altered, that the future is ensured, and that the present may be lived to its fullest extent. In all, they maintain the flow of time as a whole.
Ihphine
A feminine presenting god representative of the current day.
Capable of many forms, Ihphine is primarily depicted as a golden and glittering butterfly. In other forms, she consistently has three eyes.
Crowned the current time god following the Throne War, Ihphine is mostly seen as a force of good though historians sometimes note that she is quick to lose her temper.
Those who look to this god for guidance often worship her by living in the moment and leaving seasonal flowers by windowsills as offerings for their favored goddess.
Agrithar
A masculine presenting god representative of the past.
Assumed dead, or too weak to show face, Agrithar is capable of few forms as he was never able to inherit the throne. He is primarily depicted as a shadowy or symbiote-like mass.
Worship of this god is controversial because he is primarily seen as a force of evil as he fought in opposition to Ihphine, the current time goddess.
Historians still search for accurate knowledge on this god, much of which has been lost to time. Common worship of this god relates to celebration and quiet mourn of the dead, which may include cleaning graveyards and caring for the sickly.
Zosia
A feminine presenting lesser spirit identified by Historians as Agrithar's sister. Her assumed death or disappearance is said to be one of the catalysts of the Throne war.
Historians know little to nothing about this spirit. Despite this, she has a handful of dedicated followers who aim to uncover the mysteries surrounding her and her family.
Common worship of this god is the fruitless pursuit of knowledge. Followers may pick up and drop hobbies on the fly, and share knowledge they've learned unprompted with others.
Ayun is she who shines her light on all those in the realm. She is the sun, the star, and the divine light. Her form takes on many appearances depending on the time of day, one for the dawn, the midday, and the sunset. Ayun is known to be more than a benevolent god, but a fun and whimsical one. She and her followers believe that love and joy and encased with the rays of sun, and that one must enjoy them to their fullest.
In her mythos, Ayun is deeply in love with Selyn, the goddess of the moon. Her gentle demeanor always kept Ayun's head level. But it is their destiny to remain apart for most of the year, always chasing after one another in the cosmos. Except for those seldom few times an eclipse takes place, and they are back in one another's embrace again.
Selyn is she who brings and beckons the night. She is both the dark of the night and its ethereal moonlight. She knows all too well the danger that darkness brings but warns that much more dangerous things can be discovered in the light. Worshipers of Selyn often are taught not to fear the dark, but to embrace it. For the Moonglow is just as comforting as the rays of the sun.
Darker followers of Selyn tend to worship without the embrace of her moon, indulging in the dark of her night for a variety of reasons. While Selyn is not typically seen as a goddess of darkness, she does not shun those who hide in her shadows.
In old mythos, it's said that it's because of the love of her dear Ayun that her moon is able to glow so brightly at night. She longs for the days her moon is to cross paths with the sun, so that the two may dance the day away yet again.
The god of earth and the bringer of nature to all barren lands. Wherever Teras is life soon follows, for every step Teras takes on the earth nature will grow. He is the epitome of freedom, with him running throughout the lands without a care or responsibility on his mind. Artwork that depicts Teras often focus on the beauty of nature and the essence of being free. Although Teras is a free spirit he is also a fierce defender of reckless destruction of nature and freedom.
Although followers of Teras are varied they often greet new followers with open arms. Worship and shrines of Teras are very simplified, as the God of Nature doesn't care for supreme devotion. As such shrines are community or individual-made with sticks and rocks found nearby. Likewise, worship of Teras such as simply praying is acceptable but also something as basic as enjoying nature is also seen as worship as it is seen as a way to connect to Teras and give thanks to what he has given to us.
The life of the sea and all that dwells within it. Oseah mainly deals in of the seas, rivers, and lakes. She is the mother of the Merfolk, thus why many refer to her as a motherly patron. She watches a great deal over her sea-dwellers. Many sailors and worshipers often give prayer to her before long journeys overseas, to hope for safe travel. Those who would spurn her, however, will face the full wrath of the ocean. She is both motherly and unforgiving, changing as fast as the tides.
Oseah is known to bless those she thinks are worthy, and favors the kind and generous. Many parents tend to give prayer to her to quell their agitated children, letting calm wash over them as if Oseah herself were to soothe them.
Caelum is the one who hangs above, master of the clouds and winds. They are the vast sky and all that dwells within it. They are distant and moody, an ever-changing force that despises contact and interaction. Despite this, they have gained a following among some communities. Followers of Caelum believe that Caelum does not inherently dislike interaction, but has grown bitter from the Sun and Moon's invasion of their space. Some sects even shun followers of Ayun and Selyn for worshiping such disruptive goddesses.
Caelum is notorious for having an unpredictable temper, possibly caused by the frustration of having Ayun and Selyn constantly in their domain. On some days they are peaceful, allowing there to be clear skies. On other days they become furious, filling the sky with clouds and causing their daemons to flee down to Earth. This is the cause of various weather phenomena such as rain, snow, and lightning.
Malanoi represents the concept of power and its pursuit. Like his fellow member Gennisi, Malanoi is one of the more abstract members of the divine pantheon. Whereas the former is understood as an eternal cycle, Malanoi is a unidirectional ascent. He is desire and ambition personified, the forward path toward greater things, the peak and its climb.
Malanoi's worshippers are diverse and numerous, for power can take innumerable forms. To wizards seeking to deepen their understanding through magical study, knowledge is power. To painters, crafters, and musicians - art has the power to evoke great emotion, often necessitating endless pursuit of improvement and mastery. Malanoi is the wealth of merchants, the influence of nobles, the renown of kings, and the ever-present desire for more.
The first to pick up a sword and shield to defend the mortal plane. Olac is a divine warrior whose lineage has brought forth the worship of honorable battle. The fight to protect the innocent, vanquish the evil, and live up to god's will. Olac was the first to rise a divine army against the Infernal plane, enlocked in an eternal battle with them over the mortal plane.
Olac is often a figure worshiped by mighty warriors, those who take on Olac's Oath to protect their people. As well as those needing protection in desperate times. He is a figure of order and justice, and will often "tip the scales" in favor of the mortal plane when it comes to natural and divine law.
Forgale has two forms said to represent good and bad luck respectively. Her “good luck” form is based in the color yellow while her “bad luck” form is based on the color of black. Forgale’s appearance changes depending on who views her, it is said that the form someone sees of her reflects what their current luck is. Her form changes frequently for some people, reflecting the chaotic nature of luck. For some people, however, Forgale will stay mainly in one form for a good portion of their lifetimes.
Forgale's followers have very particular rituals and are intense on upkeep for her shrines and temples. She's gentle in nature, her personality not changing depending on what the viewer sees.
Just be careful you do not scorn Lady luck, and give thanks to her when you afforded the good side of the coin.
Gennisi is one of the more abstract members of the divine pantheon. They are both a person and a concept, a figure that oversees, controls, and is the process of life and death. There is no god for just life and for just death, because the two are an ever-moving cycle. When a person dies, their body returns to the earth and brings fertile soil for new life. All things return to the cycle of life and death, as this is balance.
Because of this, Gennisi is often seen as an ambiguous cloaked figure holding a large wheel. The ambiguity means that the cycle will claim us all one day- and it does not discriminate or favor anyone over the other.
Parents would often sing nursery times about Gennisi to children to teach them about the concept of death. Followers of this particular god are taught not to fear death because their "next life" is right around the corner, meaning they often believe in reincarnation.
Creatures born and living within the Celestial Plane. They are often helpers and aids to the gods or those who watch over mortals and their planes. Whatever they are and whatever their purpose, they typically only see the good of mortals and to destroy the evil forces that threaten it.
Pruina is the snow daemon, creating snowfall and frost whenever she visits the mortal plane. She is said to have the form of an albino halfling with great tusks. She is nearly always depicted without pinky fingers.
Pruina is said to wander through the mountaintops, humming to herself and looking for flowers, as she rarely gets to see greenery due to the cold weather she brings. It’s hard to distract her from her flower hunt, but those who have managed to do so for long enough to carry on a conversation have reported that she is very soft-spoken and shy, but can be unintentionally cruel with her words.
Pruina is rarely called upon for harvests, seeing as that is Teras' domain, but she is a favorite of botanists living in colder climates and those interested in winter-blooming flowers.
—
Imbre is the rain daemon, creating rain showers and drizzle whenever she visits the mortal plane. Imbre is said to have the form of a mermaid with her tail shifted.
Imbre is said to walk along the coastline of the continent, crying. It is unknown what the cause of her distress is. When approached with the goal of conversation, Imbre will stop crying and glare. She will respond to questions with as few words as possible, but are capable of answering questions about nearly anything she has seen from up in the clouds, and rarely lies. When left alone again, Imbre will resume crying.
Imbre's ability to answer any question with an answer visible from the sky makes her popular amongst younger scholars. However, she does not respond to requests or prayers, and must be chased down.
—
Fulmine is the daemon of thunder and lightning, creating electrical bursts from the sky whenever she visits the mortal plane. Fulmine has been rarely spotted, but is said to take the form of a beastfolk bearing resemblance to a coral snake. In artworks, the lighter parts of their scales are depicted as glowing.
Fulmine rarely, if ever, visits the mortal plane when a storm is not present. When she must do so to flee from Caelum’s temper, she avoids mortals as much as she possibly can. Those who approach her often find themselves electrocuted, and as such no one has ever managed to carry on a conversation with Fulmine.
Beings made of pure light and good, made by Olac to defend the mortal plane when the might of the Infernals may threaten it. They are angelic beings, with large white wings and glowing golden eyes. They speak with a loud, echoing voice and are always seen with a sword of pure celestial gold. They are the blade of justice and when the time for the planar war comes, they will be ready.
The Fae Deities, being the archfey, are all magical embodiments of the 6 courts. They harness the innate magic of their lands and influence the magic of the mortal plane as well. They are not above the gods, who are the creators and purveyors of those domains, but instead incredibly old and powerful wielders of it.
The Fae Queen is the living embodiment and mother to the Fae Realm. She is magic and nature incarnate, both wild and harmonic. She is akin to the power of a god, with control over the entire Fae Realm and its people. She is a benevolent queen, taking pity on lost mortals and those who suffer. She would have sent more aid to the Mortal Planes had she also not been fighting to keep the Heart of War's corruption from seeping into her lands.
Brutal and Blistering, yet charming and glistening. The Sun Queen, as she is called, is a force of daylight and burning passion. She watches as the sun gracefully sweeps across the sky, bringing new life to the mortal realm. She is as energetic as she is calculating. Getting on her bad side is not recommended.
Eri is a patron who approaches those willing to stand in the limelight and glisten before the rays of the sun. She awards the energetic and kind and would punish the dark and deceitful.
The ever quiet, ever cautious, King of the Moon. Nynnus is as calm and quiet as the dead of night but carries the same deadliness and mystery. The night is unknowable, unfathomable. And yet, moonlight graces the darkness and opens up the way to new and strange experiences.
Nynnus is a patron who beckons to the curious and quiet. An adversary of the Goddess of Night, he carries out the dark magic that may be strengthened in her moonlight. He favors the reserved and deceitful and punishes those who disrupt the dark and make themselves seen.
Playful and kind, the Lady of the Trees. Fiori is the fey deity of beauty and charm. All the love and happiness that blooms in spring, come from Fiori’s unending garden where she tends to the spirits of all living creatures. Druids invoke her name to grant them power and good luck in their endeavors. The spring portal is to the East and is protected by the Order of the Oak, a druid enclave that watches over the portal and worships Fiori.
Fiori is a patron who calls to those who protect and cherish all life. She listens to all of nature’s creatures and gives them a voice to be heard. She rewards those who do not harm the living, and those who protect nature’s natural order, and she punishes those who would disrupt it or take the life of another for no reason.
A close companion to Eri, Vellem is a bold and glimmering visage of power. Summer speaks of bright vibrant days, glistening seas, and of fond memories. Perhaps the only creature able to withstand Eri’s episodic anger issues. But the summer is more than just fire and light, it is a time of merriment.
Vellem is a patron who supports direct action and offense. No time to sit and dawdle, you must strike now. Summer is a time to do, and to be. No time for reflection yet. He favors those who tend to be aggressive and act quickly and ignores the slow and strategic thinkers.
The Autumnal bearer of harvest, family, and love. He embodies the embracing of change, just like how the leaves change over the cycle of a tree’s life. Where one thing ends, another begins. The leaves of dead trees nourish the ground, and a new life is born. Magic is wild in nature and change is one of it's foremost qualities.
Aros is a patron of those who move forward with life. He knows immortality is saved for the gods, and chooses to preach that we are not trapped by the cycle of death, but ushered by it to lead a full and happy life. He favors those who are goal-oriented and focus on the bigger picture. While he tends to disdain those caught in the past or unable to carry on.
The cold Princess of Frost, her ice knows no limits. Too cold for any mere mortal to come before her. It is as cruel and unforgiving as a snowstorm and is more accustomed to staying secluded in her tower at the heart of the Winter Court. Her permafrost is much like being petrified, and any soul unlucky enough to get on her bad side will be trapped in winter forever.
Desmera is a patron who rarely seeks warmth. She abides by the laws of the Winter, which is to spread and freeze all in its wake as if to freeze things in time. She is often stuck in the past, running her own mind in circles. She favors the cold and unkind and shuns away any warmth or growth.
Similar to the Archfey, the Far Realm has ancient and eldritch horrors that serve the Shadow Queen. Her dark bidding is carried out through each shadow as they carve their way into the mortal planes.
The dark and deceitful Queen of the Far Realm embodies death and decay. The absences of peace and harmony lie in her wake. She assumes absolute control over the entities within the Far Realm, and she rules with an iron fist.
When the Heart of War took over the Empire, she saw it as an opportunity to dig her claws into the mortal plane once and for all. Her dark creatures now spread havoc and death wherever they go, using the guise of the fog to target unsuspecting mortals. Though most of her efforts of onslaught are focused around the Fae Portal known to exist in the Empire, as the Queen wants nothing more than to snuff out the realm of magic and life.
Vekath was born of the Shadow Queen's mind, shrouding others in his dark lies. He says all truth is shrouded in the darkness of lies, but with his shadow, you can bear witness to it all. He states that the biggest lie of all is the mortal's faith in the divine gods.
To him, true intelligence and power comes from the denial of the divine and the embrace of all forms of magic outside of it. For what hides in the shadows has grown wise to the tricks of the light.
To gain Vekath's favor, you must embrace the shadow and denounce faith in all of the divine Pantheon. Only then can you see the "truth". If you are not careful, however, the lines between truth and lie may become blurred.
Eryamere was born of the Shadow Queen's heart, shrouding all other emotions and feelings in the cold abyss. It states that true clarity and power come only with the denial of mortal emotions and feelings. Only a husk may remain, and then you will know true power. No pain, no suffering, but no joy and love.
Eryamere often curses those for seemingly no good reason, making it extremely hard for them to feel any kind of emotion. This curse can be broken in a number of ways, but none of them are easy. If you are not careful, this lack of feeling could cause you to loose more than just your heart.
Born of the Shadow Queen's eye, Trizeth knows the connection between sight and mind is a fragile thing. But through their power, you can see through everything. Every lie, facade, illusion, fear, feeling- all of it. It's more than just knowing the truth, it's the power to see everything as it truly is. No darkness, no magic- just as it is.
But if you are not careful, your sight may not be reliable. As your mind can not always comprehend that of which it sees. Those who have seen too much often go mad with visions. Seeing everything- it's often too much for one to handle. Eventually, they lose the ability to see anything at all.
There was one story, a long time ago, that a man's eyes were taken because his hubris drove him to seek out all of which Trizeth's power could bring. He went mad and scorned Trizeth, leading to his life being spared but his eyes removed and his mind forever broken.
Wrenched from the Shadow Queen's body, Maviul sought to tear the thread of fabric between the realms and sunder mortal's connection to it. Any magic is weak to Maviul and it is resistant to all schools. Its warriors of darkness are of incredibly strong bodies, relying on the shadows for physical strength.
Maviul often curses mages and magic users, draining their abilities and cutting their connection with the magic that surrounds their planes. This leaves them vulnerable to their warriors, who seek the destruction of magic and all those who use it.
Deep within the dark depths of the Far Plane's shadowy waters lays a creature whose tentacles can stretch deep within the recess of one's mind. Known to call out and lure ocean denizens such as fishermen and Merfolk, Vathys is both an ancient patron to those seeking a deeper power and an insatiable hunger that infects the minds of its victims.
It's hunger is that of murder, a dark appetite only able to be quelled with the bloodying of its waters. Be cautious, lest its tentacles drag you down into the deep with it.
Ga'av was a celestial warrior made to be a peacekeeper. It is unknown how or why they first rebelled against the Celestial Pantheon, but as their punishment, they were sent to the Nine Hells. They were expected to become a powerful demon Lord, and the Princes of hell and began to rise through the ranks through their violent tendencies. He rose through to the top of the eight lords of hell, and once more he rebelled. Why he rebelled a second time is still debated, but his punishment is well-known throughout all Ulrisin.
Ga'av, having rebelled against both the celestial and infernal pantheon was cursed by both. The celestials bound his power into two powerful objects, a golden three-handed sword and a bronzed gauntlet made from their own left hand. The infernals, with Ga'av's powers, stripped, and took his immortal body, giving him a mortal body and soul. They are now forever reborn as a mortal, cursing the pantheons and spending their infinite lives feebly fighting against higher powers.
At the entrance of the nine hells, there is a technical tenth. There is a small temple that serves as the first step on the journey to the hells, spirits are free to pass through, but may never leave. The temple itself is seemingly older than even the hells, and its single permanent resident seems to be just as old. Pavase, the Gatekeeper of hell, is neither infernal or celestial, monster or beast, outsider or insider. They simply exist and do their job. Their job is seemingly self-imposed. They keep all the infernals and souls within hell, and keep most mortals out.
The first of the princes of hell and ruler of the first circle Jöt. A massive and flat plane covered in a thick layer of snow and devoid of light, it's said that the ground underneath is made up of frozen souls.
Their plane is as fridged and cold as their large and frozen body stripped of its flesh, blood, and viscera, leaving only bones made of ice blue. They are said to have been one of the first mages and to have been a great and powerful lich before their body was stripped of its power by the other eight Princes and turned into five powerful artifacts. They seek to regain their body and rise through the ranks of hell once more. The five other artifacts are said to be spread out in various demi-planes, waiting to be found, and eventually, returned to him.
The second prince of hell and ruler of the second circle Karaka. A writhing mass of violence of blood, where souls and demons fight to rest atop tall obelisks where the strong carve their names.
Ashurin began their life as nothing more than a common imp. He was never gifted with the art of violence, but they clawed and clawed. The battles of the course of their life left countless, horrific scars that hardened themselves to that of diamonds. While they did reach their stature by carving a path through flesh, they are also a king to a sizable population of hell that respects their power and follows it's unrelenting strength. It is said when Ashurin challenged a former prince of hell, after they defeated them, they forged their blood and bones into a gigantic sword named ᚴᚭᚹᚨᚼᛞ (COWARD).
The third prince of hell and the ruler of the third circle Bricus. A collection of large and winding tunnels filled with a toxic miasma and various spirits and devils to sick to move.
A mass of worms and maggots that occasionally that have no set form, often coming together into something that looks like a bloated, writhing, and wriggling demon. They are often regarded as a coward by the other princes, running and breaking apart from even the smallest of challengers, but they are still regarded as one of the cruelest of the nine princes. Their main weapon is patience, they inflict their foes with various diseases that rot and rend in the most horrendous ways. Every insect in the prince’s form is said to carry a different disease they have made, giving the prince millions of ways to kill their target. All enemies of Paramin are given the newest of the prince’s arsenal, the targets are protected from any who dare to attack or cure it by the prince himself, watching over the experiment.
The fourth prince of hell and ruler of the fourth circle Beow. A mountain of gold and gems that is ever growing, burying and crushing the greed souls and devils that wish to plunder its infinite bounty.
While not all of the dragons are evil, or even necessarily chaotic for that matter, Dimior is the embodiment of both. The Fallen Lamina is abhorred by all dragon kind for their crimes against their own kind, and was cast into the hells by the power of a great dragon congregation for their evil acts of sacrifice and foul dark magic. They now fly around the hells, killing or kidnapping any demons, devils or souls it can find to be used for the prince’s dark rituals and sacrifices. The few that aren’t killed are dipped in gold, creating horrific statues that are said to still be alive. The princes activities and goals seem to be a mystery even to the other princes, and due to that reason there is a large amount of distrust of them, more so than most.
The fifth prince of hell and ruler of the fifth circle Arius. A maze like jungle that is full to the brim with horrific amalgamated creatures and monsters, most souls and demons on this plan are eaten and their restless forms are reborn as unsightly plants.
Orpheus is a chimeric beast that is thought to be an amalgamation of all other beasts, their form ever changing. The strongest of the minor princes, they are know as the father of monsters. Seen as more “caring” than most of the other princes, at least towards their own creations. The creations of the beast prince are often are messy, with them being akin to mindless freaks that roam the hells looking for anything to eat. These mindless creations are seen as barbaric savages even to the other demons of the hells, but treated as innocent children by their creator. How these cretins are formed is unknown, some say that they are made for when the prince hacks a piece of themselves off and they shape the piece like clay, others suggest something it is actually the hairs and scales of the prince shedding off and following in a. Nonetheless no one knows how the prince makes these creatures but what is known is that a majority of them turn out as chimeras and amalgamates.
The sixth prince of hell and ruler of the sixth circle of hell Ylon. A once proud city lost to time, left for rot and ruin, souls and devils that find their way here often choose to stay in the city, becoming part of it... literally.
A being of evil, commander of the lords of hell (Ogd, Arvise, Corym, Baskilus, Settipsle, Muravama, Ga'av, Pavase) and the first of the four greater princes. Monnamon is a great and hulking beast forever scheming, planning, and pondering in their hell. Watching over the scrambling and feuding of mortal souls, keeping a tally of mortal “sins”. This prince is known for its obsession with the material plane, with some saying that it cares more about the affairs of mortals rather than the hells. Monnamon is thought to have a connection to the Pavase, the gatekeeper of Hell, telling them where each mortal soul goes according to their misdeeds in the living realm.
Whether or not Monnamon is responsible for these “crimes” that the mortals have done is unknown; what is known however is that for every sin that the prince witnesses he marks a tally in a grand book. The prince always knows and remembers who committed a misdeed and when that misdeed spread further beyond them, adding to the tally. The beast is very cunning in its actions, being the main antagonist of most epics that detail a journey into the nine hells.
The seventh prince of hell and ruler of the seventh circle of hell Sairaag. A vast and ever working contraption that forever moves and hisses, souls and infernals that find their way here are either consumed by its mechanisms or loose themselves in its ever changing design.
Hellmaster Fibrizo is the overseerer of the hells. While unlike the other princes, they are confined to their one hell, they shape and control the various hells to their whim. They are a formless devil that control the other hells via the large arcane mechanism that is their circle, that keeps all of the hells in "balance". While it would seem they move the hells to cause chaos, and trouble for the other lords, it seems they do so keep a certain sense of balance. Making sure all the princes are kept in check and their insidious evil is kept from destroying each other, and their selves, to keep the balance they have made.
The eighth prince of hell and ruler of the eighth circle of hell Inanis. A plane covered in total darkness that not even devils sight can pierce, souls and devils alike loose themselves forever in this darkness.
The first devil, king of demons and third of the greater princes. Zeris' form is not fully understood as they rarely leave their hell, but those who have "seen" the prince describe a form "darker than twilight, with eyes as crimson red as blood that flows". None have gotten close enough to describe their form more than that, at least not without dying.
Although their form is a mystery, their goal and overall job is not. Quite simply, they watch over the pit where the ninth prince rests, the small opening being the only source of light in the entire hell. As they watch over, they grab the embers that float up and wrap them in darkness, making demons and devils alike, throwing them to the higher hells, or letting them wander in the dark. While it seems they watch over the ninth prince, it is unknown whether they watch for the safety of the other hells, or to one day usurp the strongest prince.
The ninth and final prince of hell, they are imprisoned in the ninth circle of hell Ish. A tapered pit of rough igneous stone, no infernals tread here and souls that find their way to the bottom of hell are burned within the princes for for eternity.
The First Spark, the creature that brought fire to the material plane. The means for survival, communities, established numerous jobs and roles, kings, conflict. The Prince of Flames brought what can only be described as the first spark of chaos, setting mortals down a path that no one can confidently say was for the best. It is unknown if the creation of fire by the material realm was a gift, a scheme, or was an accident from Ignis as their intentions are strange and cryptic to all. While they are the most powerful infernal being in the Nine Hells, they are also the most unstable, a being of chaos. They are kept to the pit of the lowest hell, for the safety of the realms, himself, and the horrors of the outer realms. Most information about Ignis is unknown so much to the point that there are infernals in the hells that swear that Ignis is just a myth or a long dead devil.
